Gone [Ymir/Marco]
How many days had it been?
She couldn’t remember.
Ever since he didn’t answer the phone, things had been running together in her mind, as if none of it ever existed but at the same time it was implanted so concretely within her mind that it left embedded, physical scars. But could she call them that? Bittersweet wounds, she found more comfortable to consider them as.
It was late Friday evening. The first weekend away from him. Him...
What was his name again?
“Marco.” She mouthed it without actually saying it out loud, her body losing some of its posture and falling back against the headboard of her bed

She Opened the Door
The door is closed; the door is always closed
Inside and out its locked tight
Mental and physical it’s latched to perfection
The room is dark; the lights are always off
The walls are covered; the enclosure is always lively with her drawings
The bed is unmade; the nest is always a bit messy
The computer is on; she’s always in her own world.
The fingers type hastily; there’s always something she has to say to say.
The lungs sigh; there’s always nobody to say it to.
The characters flash across the screen; there’s always somebody to love.
The fictional being laughs; there’s always a reason to smile.

Things have been a whole lot better for me recently. I've started on anti-depressants and things sure have gotten easier. (:
Just take things one day at a time and it'll be alright.
don't you just love people that give you a reason to want to prove yourself?
they'll down-talk you and try to tell you you're nothing, when it really simply fuels the motivation to be a good person
it's the push that I need to reach my potential and strive to better my talents
but most of all, it gives me the will to put a smile on my face each day
nothing is more satisfying than proving those people wrong.
so in a way, it's good for some people to dislike you;
you can't please everyone.
and that's good.
it makes the sweet taste of success that much more wonderful.
